Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS)

Reliable accounting with the insight to move forward.

As businesses grow, the accounting function often struggles to keep pace. Redpath’s Client Accounting & Advisory Services is the managed-service engine that keeps your accounting accurate, controlled, and on time. As a true extension of your team, we take on the day-to-day work, including AP, AR, payroll, close, and consolidation to deliver the timely, reliable reporting you need to make confident decisions.

Strong decisions begin with reliable numbers.

The quality of your financial decisions depends on the quality of the information behind them. When close timelines drag, reports arrive late, or accounting processes vary from month to month, leadership loses visibility and important decisions get delayed.

Our CAAS team brings structure, consistency, and accountability to your accounting function. From transaction processing and payroll through month-end close, consolidations, and management reporting, we help create a dependable financial foundation that supports the way your business operates today and where you want it to go next.

Challenges we help clients navigate:

Accounting that can't keep pace

Reduce back office bottlenecks to stay ahead of growth.

Late or inconsistent reporting

Gain the visibility needed to make high-stakes decisions.

Staffing & turnover challenges

Reduce staffing burdens and risk.

Slow month-end close

Streamline month-end close processes.

Limited financial visibility

Turn your data into a strategic tool for growth.

Preparing for financing or sale

Build audit-ready financial records that protect your valuation.

More than bookkeeping.
A managed accounting function.

CAAS is designed for businesses that have outgrown basic bookkeeping but do not want to carry the cost, hiring risk, or complexity of building a full accounting department internally. We work as an extension of your team, bringing documented processes, experienced professionals, and built-in continuity to the accounting function.

Our team can support:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Payroll and transaction processing
  • General ledger accounting
  • Month-end close
  • Reconciliations and consolidations
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Management reporting and dashboards
  • Accounting process and internal control support

The complete financial engine behind stronger decisions.

Accurate accounting is the engine that powers every other financial conversation. Cash forecasting, FP&A, board reporting, transaction readiness, and strategic decision-making all depend on timely, reliable data. CAAS creates that foundation by producing financial information leadership can trust and use.

Then, as your business grows and you’re ready to add senior finance leadership, Strategic Finance Solutions builds directly on the CAAS foundation with forecasting, scenario planning, board reporting, transaction support, and fractional CFO guidance. Because both practices sit within Redpath, the transition is coordinated rather than starting over with an additional provider.

Responsive support when decisions cannot wait.

Questions rarely arrive on a convenient schedule. When they do, you need a team that understands your business and responds quickly. Every CAAS engagement is coordinated through a dedicated Client Manager who owns the broader relationship and connects you to the right professionals across Redpath. You will always know who to call, and your Client Manager will already understand your organization, priorities, and broader goals. That relationship is supported with access to Redpath specialists across accounting, tax, audit, transaction advisory, valuation, and strategic finance.

Outcomes we deliver:

  • Accurate, timely financials produced on a reliable cadence
  • Disciplined month-end close and consolidations that stand up to external scrutiny
  • Clean management reporting and operational dashboards
  • Peace of mind knowing your accounting function is less exposed to turnover

  • Same-day responsiveness through a dedicated Client Manager
  • Standardized, scalable service that grows with the business
  • Integrated tax and audit coordination under one firm
  • A clean accounting foundation that supports strategic finance work when you need it

Built for the next transaction.

Businesses preparing for a sale, acquisition, or financing event consistently underestimate the value of clean, defensible financial reporting. A reliable CAAS foundation means your books are ready when the conversation gets serious, and when you need strategic horsepower for the deal itself, Strategic Finance Solutions is one coordinated step away.

    About Eric :

I bring more than 30 years of experience helping middle-market, privately held, and private equity-backed companies navigate complex financial, operational, and strategic decisions. My work spans CFO and operational advisory, M&A and transaction support, business strategy, and value-creation initiatives across manufacturing and distribution, real estate, and alternative investments. I combine the perspective of an operator with the rigor of a trusted advisor, helping leadership teams translate financial insight into practical decisions, stronger execution, and sustainable growth. I have served in senior leadership roles on both sides of the table. Most recently, I was Chief Financial and Operating Officer for a family office overseeing a diversified alternative-investment portfolio. Previously, as Office Managing Partner at a national public accounting firm, I built and scaled the Minneapolis tax practice, focused on the needs of privately held and private equity-backed businesses. Throughout my career, I have worked alongside owners, executives, investors, and boards during periods of growth, transition, transaction, and change. My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that finance should do more than report results, it should help organizations make better decisions and create enduring value.
