Redpath and Company Names Ryan Everhart as Firm's Managing Partner

SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA (AUGUST 29, 2023) — Redpath and Company (Redpath), one of the nation’s top 120 accounting and advisory firms, has named Ryan Everhart, CPA, as managing partner effective October 1, 2023. Everhart will succeed Mark Gibbs, CPA, CGMA, who has served as the firm’s managing partner since 2014 and succeeded Jim Redpath in the same capacity. Gibbs will continue to serve as partner and client manager.

As the fourth named managing partner in the firm’s 50+ year history, Everhart will focus on the firm’s vision, high-level planning, and overall direction while leading the reputation, client service, and business development functions of the firm. He will continue to build upon the advisory services foundation laid by outgoing managing partner, Mark Gibbs, in the areas of M&A advisory and accounting and financial management. The advisory services practice area at Redpath has experienced tremendous growth since its inception in 2020, and Ryan will be tasked with expanding the practice to deliver additional value and innovative services to a diverse client base.

Ryan began his career in 2005 with a national firm and joined Redpath in 2014. Before stepping into the top leadership role of the firm, he assumed the duties of client manager, was named partner in 2019, and led the construction industry practice area, the firm’s largest industry by revenue.

“Ryan is a remarkable leader who embraces our shared vision and is determined to carry us forward,” said Gibbs. “His unique insights and leadership skills will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success of our firm, both now and into the future. He is driven to serve clients and continue to deliver value to them through innovation and new service offerings. He is passionate about business development and possesses the business acumen and strategic mindset necessary to set a clear vision for the firm. Most importantly, he understands the importance of inspiring and motivating the Redpath team to achieve our collective goals. I look forward to working with him in his new capacity.”

“I am truly humbled to be named the next managing partner and to be trusted to lead the firm down a path of positive growth and continued success,” said Everhart. “I look forward to being able to help the firm set and realize our strategic vision and build upon our strong reputation in the marketplace. My goal is to be an inspiration to the entire Redpath team, while demonstrating the importance of providing unparalleled value and service to our clients each day. I am fortunate to begin this position with the foundation of a great culture and the best people. I definitely have big shoes to fill as I follow in the footsteps of our namesake, Jim Redpath, and our outgoing managing partner, Mark Gibbs. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support throughout my career.”

Everhart earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
